Persephone

A stolen goddess, a mother’s grief that starved the world, and a bargain that shaped every season since.

This is myth, not history. Unlike the fact-checked Volumes on this site, Persephone isn’t a real person — there’s no historical record to verify, no quotes to fact-check. It’s an illustrated, character-consistent retelling of an ancient story, built with the same care as the rest of this site: one character reference sheet held Persephone’s face and gear consistent across ten illustrated shots (Segmind nano-banana-pro), the strongest beats were animated (Segmind/Kling), and the narration and score were generated and mixed to match.

A meadow, a single strange flower, and an earth that splits open without warning. Ten shots trace the whole story — from a mother and daughter gathering wildflowers to a kingdom of shadow, to a bargain written into the turning of the year itself.

She rose from the earth into the light, and flowers bloomed beneath every footstep as her mother ran to meet her.

And so the seasons turned forever after — spring when she returns, winter when she must go back.
